Creating positive social impact.
"From the proceeds of success, it is important to contribute back to society, improve the quality of life of people who are not able to contemplate success and make the world a better place for future generations."
Bill Moss AO
At Boston Global, social impact is central to our philosophy. We support charitable organisations and initiatives that create meaningful change across education, medical research, human rights, indigenous social initiatives, children’s health and wellbeing, medical innovation and ESG-aligned investment.
Our approach to impact is shaped by the belief that business, philanthropy and innovation can work together to improve quality of life and create lasting outcomes for future generations.
FSHD Global Research Foundation
A central part of Boston Global’s social impact commitment is the FSHD Global Research Foundation, established by Bill Moss AO in 2007 with a mission to find treatments and a cure for Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy, one of the most common forms of muscular dystrophy affecting adults and children.
The Foundation is focused on funding world-class medical research, advancing muscle regeneration, supporting muscle health and wellness, and accelerating therapies that can improve the lives of people affected by FSHD.
Under the leadership of current Chair Natalie Cooney, the Foundation continues to expand its global impact through medical research, biotechnology innovation, advocacy and patient-focused initiatives. Through her work at the Foundation and Boston Global, Natalie brings together business, innovation and philanthropy to help commercialise transformative technologies and create meaningful, sustainable impact.

Impact Through Innovation
Boston Global’s social impact philosophy extends beyond charitable giving. We seek to support and commercialise technologies, research and initiatives that have the potential to improve lives, strengthen communities and advance global health and wellbeing.
This includes a focus on medical research, biotechnology, wellness, muscle health, robotics, artificial intelligence and future health technologies that can contribute to improved quality of life.
